DESCRIPTION:Educators:\nSteffen Klamt\, Axel von Kamp\, Pavlos Bekiaris (de
 .NBI-SysBio)\n \nDate:\n19-Nov-2026 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (CEST / UTC +1)\n \n
 Location:\nOnline\n \nContents:\nBuilding upon the CellNetAnalyzer/CNApy i
ntroductory course\, this course addresses advanced topics and methods of
constraint-based modeling of metabolic networks coupled with live demonstr
ations and hands-on exercises with the MATLAB package CellNetAnalyzer (CNA
 ) and its Python-variant CNApy.\n \n• Phase planes and Yield spaces\n•
Minimal cut sets and computational design of metabolic networks\n• Enzy
 me-constrained metabolic models\n• COBRA-k: Constrained-based modeling w
ith kinetic rate laws\n• Associated live demos and hands-on exercises wi
th CNA and CNApy\n• Q&amp\;A session on advanced topics \n \n\nLearning
Goals:\n• The participants will get familiar with advances topics of con
straints-based modeling and metabolic design and learn how to employ relat
ed functionalities within CellNetAnalyzer and CNApy.\n• Hands-on exercis
es with CellNetAnalyzer and CNApy will enable the participants to routinel
y use these techniques in their work.\n \nPrerequisites:\nNone\, but for b
eginners it could be advantageous to first attend the related introductory
course on basic principles of constraints-based modeling and CNA/CNApy (h
old two weeks prior to this course).\n \nKeywords:\nMetabolic networks\, F
